Meet Claude

Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. You chat with it in plain language to write, learn, analyze and solve problems. In this lesson you will open it and create an account.

Open the site

In your browser, go to claude.ai. You will see a welcome page with options to continue with Google, or with your email address.

Create your account

Click your preferred sign-in option. If you use email, type your address and follow the link or code Claude sends you. Then confirm your name and agree to the terms.

Tip: keep it simple

Using the same method each time you sign in avoids confusion. Your chats are saved to your account, so you can return to them later.
