What makes a good prompt · ChatGPT Course

1

Your goal

A prompt is the message you send to ChatGPT. Better prompts bring better answers. Let us learn a simple recipe.

2

Be clear about the task. Instead of writing: Tell me about dogs, write: Give me five tips for training a young puppy to sit.

3

Tell ChatGPT who the answer is for and why. For example: I am a beginner with no cooking experience and I have only 20 minutes.

4

Ask for the shape of the answer: a short list, a table, three paragraphs, or a friendly email. Mention the length too.

5

Think of ChatGPT as a helpful assistant who knows nothing about your situation until you explain it.
